Scholarship Opportunity for Nepali Undergraduate Students
The Association of Nepalese Mathematicians in America (ANMA) is delighted to announce a
scholarship opportunity for up to fifteen talented and ambitious Nepali students. We invite
applications from third-year undergraduate students who are pursuing or intending to major in
mathematics at universities in Nepal.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be a Nepali citizen.
- Currently in the third year of the annual system (or the fifth semester of the
semester system) of a Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Education, or Bachelor of
Science program at any university in Nepal.
- Majoring in mathematics or currently taking mathematics courses with an intent to
major in mathematics, statistics or mathematics education in the following year.
- Demonstrated academic excellence and passion for mathematics.
Scholarship Benefits
- Each selected recipient will receive a total of NRS 50,000, distributed in two
installments over two years. The second installment will be provided upon
satisfactory progress in the previous years and therefore is not guaranteed.
- Networking opportunities with professionals and academicians in the field of mathematics.

applicant�s mathematics instructor

Shortlisted candidates may be invited for virtual interviews with the selection committee. ANMA may seek input from the Nepal Mathematical Society (NMS) during the selection process. Scholarship amounts and certificates will be distributed in coordination with the NMS.
